Skyland Packers & Movers

Skyland Packers & Movers is located at 24 Sahara Complex. It’s a straightforward setup we have here. We chose this spot because the complex is easy to get to and has enough space for our trucks to pull in when they need to. The office is basically just a room where we keep our logs and answer the phone. There are stacks of boxes everywhere, and the smell of packing tape is pretty much constant. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just us, some clipboards, and a lot of work to get through. Moving people’s stuff is a lot of responsibility, so we spend a lot of time checking and re-checking our lists. The Sahara Complex has a lot of other businesses too, so there’s always people coming and going. Sometimes it’s hard to find a parking spot near our door. We’ve been in this location for a while now and we’ve gotten to know the other business owners nearby. We usually have lunch at our desks because there’s always something that needs to be done. It’s a dusty, busy kind of place, but it works for us. We don't try to make it look like something it's not. It’s just a base for us to do our packing and moving work. Every day we see different families moving their lives around, and it makes the work feel very real.
