Sintex Industries Limited is based out of 'Devchhaya', right by the Usmanpura Cross Roads. If you’re familiar with Ashramroad in Ahmedabad, you know how busy it can get around here. There’s always traffic and people moving about. Our office is right in the thick of it. It’s an old building, but it has character. We spend our days here managing all the various aspects of the business. From the big water tanks everyone knows to the more complicated industrial stuff, it all goes through our hands at some point. It’s a noisy place sometimes because of the location, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't much for fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets; we just use what works. The team is a mix of people who have been here forever and a few newer faces. We mostly stick to our work and try to get home on time, though that doesn't always happen. Dealing with the 380014 area means we're pretty central, which is handy for getting things delivered. There's no script for what we do; we just take each day as it comes and try to stay on top of the workload. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it seems to work out for us. You won't find any corporate talk here, just plain English and hard work. There is usually a bit of a breeze from the river if we keep the windows open, though it brings in the dust too.
