Silverline Meditech is located right in the middle of the city on Salapose Road. We are on the first floor of the Spectrum Commercial Centre, which is really close to the GPO. You can hear the traffic and the sirens all day long. It’s a very active part of town. Our office isn't very large, but we pack it full of medical equipment. There are shelves everywhere holding different types of devices and tools. Sometimes it feels like a bit of a maze in here. I started working here a few years back, and I've seen the same delivery guys coming in every week. We know everyone by name. We don't do much fancy advertising or anything. People usually find us because they need something specific for a clinic or a lab. We spend the mornings replying to emails and the afternoons checking the stock. The lighting in the office is a bit dim, but we have big windows that let in some sun. We don't have a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door greets people. It’s a very informal environment. We drink a lot of coffee and keep the paperwork moving as fast as we can. It’s a steady job in a busy part of Ahmedabad. We just try to stay on top of the orders and keep the shelves organized so we can find things quickly.
