Siddhi Ceramic Desigers is located in a very old part of Ahmedabad. We are at 159, Ghashiram Ni Pole in Sarangpur. If you know the old city, you know how narrow the lanes are and how busy it gets. Finding our place for the first time can be a bit of a challenge because of all the turns. The building is old but has a lot of character. We work with ceramics and design, so there are always samples and broken pieces of tile lying around the office. It’s a bit messy, to be honest. We have some wooden desks that have been here forever and a very old ceiling fan. The atmosphere in Sarangpur is always lively with people shouting and bells ringing from the nearby temples. We don’t have a big showroom. Most people just come in and look at what we are working on at the moment. It’s a small family-run kind of feel. We don't use any fancy software for everything; a lot of it is still done with sketches and physical samples. Sometimes the heat in Ahmedabad makes the work slow, but we just keep at it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just enjoy the work and the people we meet in the Pole. It is a noisy place but we have been here for years and know everyone who lives and works on this street. We just keep our heads down and do what we do.
