Shyam Maternity Medical Hospital

Our hospital is called Shyam Maternity Medical Hospital and we are located on the 1st Floor of the Shiv Shakti Complex. That’s on Viratnagar Road in the Odhav Gam area, which is pretty close to the Gandhi Park Society. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs, but it’s a good spot because we are set back a little bit from the main noise of the road. The Shiv Shakti Complex is a busy building with a lot of different things going on. We have been here for several years now. The space we have is set up specifically for maternity and other medical needs. It’s not a huge, sprawling facility, just a series of rooms that we use as best as we can. We try to keep things as comfortable as we can for the mothers who come in, but it’s a very practical, no-frills kind of place. The staff here are used to the rhythm of the day, which usually involves a lot of cleaning and checking on the patients. We are right near Gandhi Park Society, so we see a lot of families from that area. It’s a local place where we don't worry too much about looking like a big corporate office. We just focus on our work and keeping the clinic running. It’s a simple setup in a busy part of Odhav Gam, and it works for us. The stairs are wide enough for most people.
