Shri Shankar Ayurvedic Pharmacy

We are located at number 87 in the Changodar Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't already out here for work. Shri Shankar Ayurvedic Pharmacy focuses on the more traditional side of things. The industrial estate is a busy place with lots of trucks and workers moving around all day. We’ve been here for a while, tucked away among the factories and warehouses. Inside, it smells like herbs and ground roots, which is a nice change from the exhaust outside. We deal with a lot of local workers who need something for their aches or a bit of help with digestion. It’s not like those shiny pharmacies in the shopping malls. We have wooden shelves and glass jars. Sometimes we have to explain how to use something because it’s not just a pill in a blister pack. We take our time with folks. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so there’s a lot of cleaning to do. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us here. If we’re in the back mixing something up, the bell on the door lets us know someone’s come in. It’s a steady kind of life. People know where to find us when they want the old-fashioned remedies. We keep the shop open through the usual shifts and try to stay helpful for everyone working in the estate.
