Shri Chamunda Medical

Shri Chamunda Medical sits at 1/12 in Sanskar Society, right on IOC Road in Chandkheda. It’s a nice enough spot because we’re directly opposite Ganesh Park, so we see people out walking or kids playing while we work. The shop is small and stays fairly cool because of the trees outside. We have been here for a while, and the neighbors usually stop by even if they don’t need medicine, just to say hello and see how we are. We keep the shelves packed with all the usual stuff people need for fevers or small injuries. The back room is where we keep the bulkier items, and it's always a bit of a disaster back there with empty cardboard boxes piled up. We try to keep the front looking decent, but things get moved around a lot during the day. Sometimes the computer system for the billing acts up, and we have to write everything out by hand, which slows things down quite a bit. We don’t mind, though. People in Chandkheda are patient for the most part. On hot afternoons, the shop gets a bit quiet, so we catch up on the cleaning or check the stock levels. It’s a simple life running a chemist shop in a residential area. We know whose grandmother needs what heart pill and who’s looking for baby formula. We just open the doors in the morning, sweep the front step, and wait for the day to start.
