Shree Vishwakarma Mould

Our workshop is at 39, Yamuna Industrial Estate. If you know the Sakriba Party Plot, we are just behind it on Jamfalwadi Road in the Amraiwadi area. It’s a loud place because we are always working on moulds. There’s the smell of metal and coolant everywhere. The floor usually has some metal shavings that we sweep up at the end of the day. Shree Vishwakarma Mould has been around this part of C.T.M. for a bit. We have some heavy machines that hum all day long. It gets pretty hot in the summer, especially with the machines running. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and find us near the lathes or the milling machines. Most of the work is quite oily. We spend our time checking measurements with calipers and making sure the steel is cut the way it needs to be. Sometimes we stay late when a job is taking longer than we thought. The guys in the shop are used to the noise. We eat our lunch together in a small corner where it's a bit quieter. It’s not a clean job, but we like making things from scratch. The neighbors in the industrial estate are all doing similar work. We share a bit of news over the fence now and then. Sometimes we even share a few tools when someone is in a real pinch.
