Khadia is one of the oldest parts of the city. You have to walk through Soni No Khancho near the Khadia Gate to find us at number 1799. It’s right near Desai Ni Pole. The lanes are very thin here. You can’t bring a big car in, so most people walk or use scooters. Our shop, Shree Satyadev Screen & Offset Printers, has been around for a long time. We do both screen and offset printing. It’s a traditional way of working that we’ve stuck with. The smell of the paper and the ink fills the whole room. We have old machines that still run better than some of the new ones. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so many files and old templates stored away in the cupboards. We know almost everyone in the pole. People come by not just for printing but to share news and drink tea. It’s that kind of place. We don’t have a website or an email that we check every minute. It’s better to just come by and talk to us face to face. We do wedding cards, local flyers, and school books. It’s slow work sometimes, but we take care with every page we print. The walls are stained with ink splashes from over the years. We don't bother painting over them because it shows the work we've done for the neighborhood. It's our history in this old building and we like it.
