Shree Ganpati Handloom

We are located on the third floor of the Safal-3 market, in shop D-339. Getting stuff up to the third floor is always a bit of a workout, but we are used to it by now. The market is always buzzing with people and other shopkeepers. Our space is packed tight with handloom items. We have stacks of fabric and finished goods reaching almost to the ceiling. It can be a bit hard to move around when a new shipment comes in. We don't have any fancy displays or bright spotlights. We just use the overhead tubes and hope for the best. Most of our day is spent unfolding things for people to look at and then folding them back up again. Safal-3 is a big complex, so sometimes customers get lost looking for our block. We just tell them to keep walking past the elevators. It’s a family-run kind of place. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. If we are happy with a particular weave or color, we show it to whoever walks in. The air in the market can get a bit stuffy, especially in the afternoons, so we keep a small fan on the counter. We’ve been in this building for a while and know most of the other sellers nearby. It’s just a regular shop where we do our business every day. No frills, just plenty of handloom work.
