Shree Durga Handicraft

If you walk past Gokul Complex on Gujarat College Road, you will see our small shop at number three. It is right across from Nagri Eye Hospital, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around. We have been selling handicrafts here for a while. The shop is a bit cramped because we try to fit in as many things as we can. You will find stuff made of wood, brass, and some fabric items too. It is not a quiet place because of the main road, but we like the energy. Students from Gujarat College often stop by just to look around. We aren't trying to be some big showroom. It is just a local business. Some days are slow, and we just sit and rearrange the shelves. Other days, like during festival times, it gets really busy and messy. We don't really have a website or anything like that, so people just walk in. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the pieces. It is just me and a couple of others helping out. We try to keep things simple. If someone likes something, they buy it. We don't do much talking or selling. The items speak for themselves, I guess. That is how Shree Durga Handicraft stays running. We are just here everyday, opening up the shutters and waiting for the morning tea to arrive.
