Shivam Sales

We are located at No. 573 on Gandhi Road, right near the Bala Hanuman Temple. You can usually hear the temple bells from our shop, especially in the mornings and evenings. Shivam Sales is a busy place because of where we are on the road. There is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. Our shop is packed with whatever we are selling at the time, and we use every inch of space we have. Sometimes we have to stack boxes right up to the ceiling. It is not a shiny showroom with a lot of empty space. It is a working shop. We spend most of the day on our feet, helping people who come in or checking the stock that just arrived. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't stop us from getting things done. We have an old desk where we keep the bill book and a calculator. It gets a bit hot in the summer because the front is open to the street, but we have a couple of sturdy fans that keep the air moving. Dealing with the crowd on Gandhi Road is just part of our daily life. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we all just try to get through the day's work. It’s a plain and simple business.
