Shivam Dental Hospital

You’ll find us on the first floor of the Saibaba Complex, right at number 49. It’s across from the Hatkeshwar Bus Terminus in Ahmedabad, so there’s always a lot of movement. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so we always tell people to take their time. Once you’re inside, the hospital is fairly spacious. We have several rooms set up for different things. The tile floor is a bit old, but it stays clean. We don't have any fancy art on the walls, just a few charts and a clock that runs five minutes fast. We never got around to fixing that clock, so we just remember to subtract the time. Being near the terminus means we get people from all over the city. It’s a mix of regulars and folks just passing through. The afternoon sun hits the waiting room pretty hard, so we keep the curtains drawn most of the time. It stays cooler that way. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a reliable place for the people in Hatkeshwar. We keep the paperwork on the desk and the tools in the cabinets. It’s a simple way of running things, but it’s worked for us for a long time now. Usually, someone brings in snacks to share in the afternoon when things quiet down for a bit.
