Shivalaya Machinery Mfg. Company

We are based at No. 11- A in the Jaylaxmi Estate. This is on Plot No. 5- B, Part of the G. I. D. C. area in Odhav, right across from Anup Engineering. Being in an industrial estate means there is always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. Our unit is a practical one, built mostly of concrete and metal. It gets a bit warm in the summer months, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. The floor is usually covered with bits of metal or grease, which is just part of the job here. We don't have a formal office with carpets or anything like that. Instead, we have a small wooden desk near the entrance where we keep the ledger and the phone. Most of our day is spent on our feet, moving around the equipment or checking the parts. It is a bit of a commute for some of us, but the location is good for getting materials in and out. There is a small canteen nearby where we grab snacks sometimes. We have been at this plot for quite a while now and have seen many other shops come and go. Our space is lived-in and looks exactly like what it is—a place where machines are worked on. It’s not pretty, but it is exactly where we need to be to get the work done every day.
