Shiv Packaging (Vatva)

We’ve been in Vatva for a while now. The unit is at 90-12 in Phase-1. It's a busy area with all the factories around. We mostly do packing stuff. People come to us when they need boxes or wrapping for their goods. It's just a regular day-to-day operation. Sometimes it gets crowded with trucks out front. We try to keep things moving. My brother and I started this because we knew the area well. The machines make a lot of noise, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy office, just a desk and some chairs near the entrance. Most of the space is for the materials and the big rolls of paper. It's dusty sometimes, but that’s GIDC for you. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. If someone calls, we answer the phone. We don't have a big website or anything like that. Just the workshop here. We see the same faces every week from the nearby units. It's a steady life. Nothing too exciting happens, but we stay busy enough to keep going. We've seen a lot of changes in the phase over the years, new buildings going up and old ones closing down. We are still here in the same spot. It works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves usually. It's how we’ve always done things here at Shiv Packaging.
