SHILPPVASTU

We operate out of Kesar 91-A in the Yogeshwarnagar Society, which is tucked away in the Bhattha area of Paldi. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels a lot more like a home than a corporate building. We like it that way because it’s quieter and we can actually think. Shilppvastu is basically just a group of us sitting around tables, working through designs and architectural details. The society has some trees, and it’s nice to look out the window when the sun isn't too harsh. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights outside. People usually find us by looking for the house number. Inside, the rooms are filled with folders, drafting tools, and a few computers that are always running. We spend a lot of time talking about space and how people move through buildings, but we talk about it in a very practical way. There isn't much room for fancy talk here; we just want to make sure the walls are in the right place and the roof won't leak. Usually, someone is making tea in the kitchen or we’re discussing a site visit from earlier in the morning. It’s a slow, steady kind of work. We’ve been in Paldi for quite some time and we know the streets around here well. It’s a good place to be if you want to stay grounded and focus on the actual building process rather than just the looks.
