Shilp Pathology Laboratory

Our lab, Shilp Pathology Laboratory, is at number 10 in the Sumangalam Complex. This is located in New Vadaj, Ahmedabad. We are right opposite Vyas Wadi and very close to the State Bank of India branch there. It’s a convenient spot for the people living in the residential blocks nearby. The complex has a few shops and offices, and we’ve been in this unit for quite a while. Inside, it’s a very basic setup. We have a small area where people can sit and wait, and then the back area where we do the actual testing. We don’t have any high-tech looking lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us in our lab coats doing the work that needs to be done. New Vadaj is a busy neighborhood, and we see a lot of familiar faces from the area. The morning is always our busiest time, so we have to be quick but careful. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs brings us snacks if we’re too busy to leave the lab. We don’t really do any promotion or put up big hoardings. People mostly find us through word of mouth or because they were already at the bank or the market nearby. It’s a practical business. We keep our logs, maintain our equipment, and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in. It’s just a normal part of the local community here in the complex. We usually lock up once the last reports are handed out.
