Shalimar Medical And General Stores is located at G-14/23 inside the Shalimar Complex. You can find us near the Mahalaxmi Five Road area in Paldi. It’s a pretty well-known spot, so we see a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. The complex itself is quite busy, and our shop is just one of many tucked into the ground floor. We have a lot of stuff packed into a relatively small area. It’s mostly medicines, but we also keep things like soap, hair oil, and some snacks because people always seem to need those. The shelves are mostly wooden and they’ve been there since we started. Sometimes the hinges on the glass cases squeak a bit, but they still hold up. Working in Paldi means things are rarely quiet. There is always the sound of traffic or people talking in the corridors of the complex. We don't have a fancy computer system for everything; a lot of it is still done the old-fashioned way with pen and paper for notes. We try to keep a good variety of stock so that people don't have to go to three different places to find what they are looking for. It’s just us here, day after day, keeping the shop running. We aren't trying to be anything other than a standard medical store for the community. It’s steady work, and we like being part of the daily life around Mahalaxmi Five Road.
