We’re located at 27, Saket Industrial Estate, which is out on the Sarkhej-Bavla Road near Moriya in Sanand. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it’s where all the industrial action is. Shakti Pharmatech Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this unit for quite a while now. We make machinery for pharmaceutical companies. Our workshop is usually noisy and full of metal parts and welding equipment. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a nice suit. We’re usually in our work clothes, getting our hands dirty. The industrial estate is a busy place, especially with the highway right there. You see trucks moving in and out all day long. We have a crew of guys who really know their way around a machine. We don’t have a fancy front office with a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just find one of us working on a lathe or checking a drawing. We just want to make machines that work and don’t break down. It’s straightforward work. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing. We just let the machines speak for themselves. Most of our neighbors in Saket are doing similar stuff. It’s a community of makers. We like being out here in Sanand. It feels like we’re actually building something useful every day. Even when it’s dusty and loud, it’s where we belong. We just focus on the welding and the assembly and getting things shipped out.
