Venus Exim

Our office is tucked away in K-503 of the Shilalekh Apartment complex. It’s quite close to Subhash Bridge in the Shahi Bagh area. Working out of an apartment building feels a bit different than a standard office block but it works for us. We have the usual desks and computers set up where the living area would be in a normal flat. The walk from the parking lot to the building takes a few minutes and the lift is sometimes slow when everyone is coming or going at the same time. Being near Subhash Bridge means we see a lot of people passing through this part of Shahi Bagh every day. It’s mostly quiet inside the flat which is good for focusing on the computer work we have to do. We keep our files organized in the back room that used to be a bedroom. Sometimes the neighbors from other floors stop by to say hello or ask a quick question. It’s not a big flashy operation. We just come in, sit down, and handle the day’s emails and calls. In the evenings you can see the lights from the bridge from the window if you stand in the right spot near the balcony. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make coffee and sometimes eat our lunch together if things aren't too busy that day. It’s a practical way to run things without having to deal with the chaos of a major commercial hub. It feels more like a home office that grew a bit too big for one person.
