Shah Alloys Ltd. Santej

Shah Alloys Ltd. Santej has an office over at Municipal Karmachari Nagar in Ghatlodiya. We are right opposite the Sattadhar Busstop at R-5. It is a busy location because of the bus stop, so there are always people moving around outside. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular ground-floor space where we keep our files. The work we do here is mostly about managing the Santej operations from a distance. Ghatlodiya is a nice middle-class neighborhood, and many of us live close enough to walk or take a short scooter ride. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology; we still rely a lot on notebooks and talking to each other face-to-face. The sounds of the city and the buses pulling in and out are just part of our background music. We handle a lot of the paperwork that comes with the steel and alloy industry. It is not exciting work, but it pays the bills and keeps the industry moving. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, deal with the problems of the day, and try to stay organized. It is a very local operation. Most people who come in are just delivery drivers or local vendors. We keep things simple and honest here. That is just how it has always been for us at Shah Alloys.
