The office for Shah Alloys Ltd. here in Gandhinagar is actually located at Vihardham Apartment. We are in unit C/5, right across from Jayambe Nagar. If you know Thaltej Road in Ahmedabad, you know it can get pretty crowded with cars and bikes at all hours. Our spot is a bit more settled than a factory floor, which is nice for getting the administrative side of the alloy business sorted out. We handle a lot of the Gandhinagar work from this desk. It is a regular apartment setup, so it feels more like a home than a big cold company building. We have been here for a bit and the 380054 area is quite familiar to us now. People often get confused because we have Gandhinagar in the name but we sit here on Thaltej Road. It is just how things worked out with the locations. We spend our mornings looking over spreadsheets and our afternoons calling up the plants. There is no big lobby or receptionist, just a few of us making sure the numbers match up for the steel and alloys. Life moves fast on this side of town, but inside C/5, we try to keep things organized. It is just a practical place to run a business without any extra fluff. We stay focused on the tasks and try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high on the desks.
