We are located at 8, Dhanlaxmi Society. This is on Hiravadi Road in the Mahavirnagar area of Ahmedabad, or A'Bad as people write it. Being in a society like Dhanlaxmi means it feels more like a community than a business park. There are houses all around and kids playing sometimes. Our office for Sgs Ind Pvt Ltd. is just one of the units here. It’s a practical spot. The road outside, Hiravadi Road, gets quite busy during the morning rush. We have a small sign so people don't walk past the gate. Inside the society, it is much more peaceful. We have a few desks and a place to sit. It’s not a big corporate headquarters. We like it that way because it is easier to manage. The walls are a bit plain and we could probably use a new coat of paint soon. Ahmedabad is known for being dusty and we spend a lot of time cleaning the windows. The Mahavirnagar area has a lot of small businesses like ours. You get to know the neighbors after a while. We usually stay until the sun goes down and then head home. It is a straightforward place to work. Nothing too fancy, just the basics to get through the day. We have been in Dhanlaxmi Society for a bit now and it feels like home for the business. There is always someone around to chat with during the lunch break by the main gate.
