Aavishkar Machinery Pvt. Ltd. is based in office 805 at Signature-1, right on S. G. Road in Ahmedabad. We are situated just above the BMW showroom and next to the YMCA Club, which makes it easy for people to find the building. Even though the building looks quite fancy from the outside, our office is a very practical place. We work with heavy stuff like crushing equipment and rotary kilns, so we have a lot of technical drawings and heavy catalogs lying around. There are usually a few engineers sitting around a table arguing over a design or a part that needs replacing. It is not a quiet place, as there is always someone talking about a project or a site visit. We have a lot of photos of big machines on the walls, mostly to keep track of what we have done over the years. The desks are large because we need space for the big paper maps and diagrams we use. Sometimes the office feels a bit small for all the things we need to store, but we manage. We have a small pantry where we keep our lunch boxes. S. G. Road is always loud with traffic, and we can hear it even from the eighth floor. We focus on the daily tasks like checking orders and talking to the fabrication teams at the workshop. It is a straightforward way of working that suits the kind of machinery we deal with every day.
