Septec India is over in the Odhav Industrial Estate in Ahmedabad. We are at number 36 in the L Type GIDC section. It’s a typical industrial zone with plenty of activity and noise throughout the day. Our unit is basically a large shed where we do all our manufacturing and assembly. It gets quite dusty, as you’d expect in this part of Gujarat. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighbors all know us. We don't have any polished marketing materials. We just have our work and our reputation in the local area. Usually, the day starts with a quick check of the machines and a bit of cleaning. We have a small crew. We all wear our work boots and get stuck into whatever needs doing. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic in Odhav, but we just adjust our schedule. It's not a corporate office environment at all. We have a small table for tea and lunch in the corner. Most of our time is spent on the floor making sure the products are coming out right. We use simple English when we talk to our suppliers and customers. There’s no need for big speeches or fancy words. We just show them what we’ve made and they take it from there.
