Our office is up on the fourth floor of the Harvy Complex. If you are coming from Subhash Chowk, you can’t miss it since it’s right near A-One School. Gurukul is a pretty crowded spot, so finding parking can be a bit of a headache some days. Inside the office, it’s mostly files and people on the phone. We work in the biotech field, so there’s always something to keep track of. It’s not a huge place, but we fit everyone in. The windows look out over the main road which is always noisy with traffic. We’ve been here for a good bit of time now. Usually, the day starts with a quick tea and looking over what needs to be shipped or registered. We don’t have much in the way of decorations. It’s a functional setup with a few computers and cabinets full of paperwork. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving I guess. We see a lot of students from the nearby school walking by in the afternoons. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized. Being in this part of Ahmedabad means everything is close by, which is handy. We focus on our tasks and try to keep things simple without overcomplicating the daily routine. The owner usually stays late to finish the emails while the rest of us head out when the sun goes down.
