Saurashtra Cement Ltd is based here in Rajkot, specifically at Ghanshyam, 4, Amarnath Plot. We are tucked in right behind the Mahila College, which is a pretty well-known landmark if you live around here. Gujarat 360 001 is the pincode if you're sending us something. The office is in a residential-feeling area, so it stays a bit quieter than the main roads sometimes. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. Most days it’s just the usual work of managing orders and talking to the drivers who come through. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and get the work done without too much fuss. Being near the college means there’s always people walking around and some life in the streets. We focus on the cement trade, keeping track of what’s coming from the plants and where it needs to go. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking the load lists. Sometimes the weather gets hot and the fans just move the air around, but we keep at it. People know where to find us if they need to discuss a project or check on a delivery. It is an honest day's work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We are just here doing our jobs in Rajkot. We just have our coffee and get on with things, making sure the tallies are always correct.
