Saurashtra Cement Limited

Being in Andheri West means we’re always in the middle of the chaos. Our office is at Zalawadnagar, right on C.D Barfiwala Marg. If you know Juhu Lane, you know how busy it gets around here at all hours. Saurashtra Cement Limited has this spot on the third floor, numbered 3/46. It’s a typical Mumbai workspace where every inch of floor is used for something important. We spend a lot of time on the phone because the traffic makes it hard to get anywhere quickly in person. You can hear the horns honking outside all day long through the windows. We handle a lot of the coordination for deliveries across this side of the city. The rain in the monsoon season usually makes things interesting, especially when we’re trying to keep the delivery schedules on track. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, deal with the piles of paperwork, and make sure the cement gets moved. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the desks are a bit worn out at the edges, but it’s a place where people actually work. It’s not a showroom for clients. We know the local shops and where to get the best vada pav during the afternoon break. It’s just how life goes in this part of town, keeping the business moving while navigating the daily Mumbai rush.
