We set up our office in the Raipur area, specifically at Kumbharnu Dehlu. It’s right across from Talati Hall, so it’s a landmark most people in the neighborhood are familiar with. Being in Bhutni Ambli means Saumya Construction Pvt. Ltd. is right in the middle of a very active part of Ahmedabad. Our workspace is pretty simple. We have some desks, a lot of files, and usually some blueprints rolled up in the corner. Construction is what we do, and we’ve been at it for years. The building we’re in has its own character, just like the rest of Raipur. It’s not like those new glass towers you see in other parts of the city. We prefer it this way because it feels more real. Every morning we gather here to talk about what needs to happen at the various job sites. Sometimes we’re dealing with residential repairs, other times it’s something a bit bigger. The streets outside are always moving, and we are part of that daily rhythm. We don't spend a lot on advertising or making things look pretty for show. Most of our work comes from people just knowing who we are and what we do. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time on the phone. It’s just a normal business run by normal people who grew up around here and want to do a decent job on every project we take on.
