Canidine

Canidine is part of the animal health division, and we are located on the 5th floor of Astron Tech Park. This is right near Shyamal Cross Road in the Satellite area of Ahmedabad. It’s a busy part of the city, and the building itself is full of different companies. Our office isn’t huge, but it’s where we coordinate everything related to animal health products. We spend most of our time on phones or computers, talking to vets, suppliers, and distributors across the region. It’s not like a vet clinic where you see animals every day, but everything we do is for them. The 5th-floor view is mostly of other buildings and the constant traffic below on Shyamal road. We have a small pantry where we get our tea and talk about how the day is going. Since we are part of a larger group like Cadila, there are certain ways things are done, but in our corner, it feels more like a small team. We deal with a lot of technical info about medicines and supplements for livestock and pets. Sometimes the deadlines are tight, especially when a new product is being sent out. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow during the lunch hours, so we’ve learned to plan around that. It’s a professional environment but we keep it friendly and informal. We don’t really have customers walking in off the street; it’s more about the logistics of getting health products where they are needed. Most of us have been here for a few years and know the routine well.
