AVANI SEEDS LTD

Avani Seeds Ltd is where we spend our days, over at 307 in the Dev Arc Complex. Being in the seeds business means we think about the weather and the seasons a lot. Our office is right by the Iscon Cross Road on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway, which is always noisy with trucks and cars. Sometimes it takes forever just to get into the parking lot because the traffic in Ahmedabad is getting worse. We deal with different types of seeds for farmers and distributors. It is not a very exciting job if you look at it from the outside, but it is important for the people growing things. We have a lot of bags and samples lying around the office. Ahmedabad gets so dusty and hot in the summer, so we usually keep the curtains closed to stay cool while we work on the orders. Satellite is a good area, though it has changed a lot since we first started here. We have seen new buildings go up all around the Dev Arc Complex. We just keep doing our thing, processing the paperwork and making sure the right seeds go to the right places. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who drop by for a chat about the upcoming season. It’s a lot of coordination between the growers and the sellers. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the business running and helping the local farming cycle move along.
