Out here at Plot No. 17 in Swastik Industrial Estate, things stay pretty busy. We are right across from Aarvee Denims & Exports, so there are always trucks coming and going on the Sarkhej-Bavla Highway. The dust from the road settles on everything, but that’s just how it is in Sari. Aerolex Cables Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for some time now. We spend most of our hours handling cable orders and checking the machines. It’s a large estate and sometimes it takes a bit to find the right gate. The highway noise is basically a constant background hum for us. We drink a lot of chai to keep going during the long shifts. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoons and it gets quite warm inside the unit. We don’t have any big corporate signs, just the work getting done. Sometimes the power flickers when the neighbors are running heavy equipment, but we manage. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just making sure the cables are ready for whenever they need to go out. The guys in the warehouse know the layout by heart now. It’s a practical setup for what we do. If you miss the turn from the main highway, it’s a long way to loop back around, so we tell everyone to watch for the Aarvee building. It is just a normal industrial day for us.
