Sarkhej Clutch Sales & Services is located at No. 544/ 2, right inside the A-One Motor Garage Compound. If you know the S. G. Highway in Sarkhej, you know it’s a fast-moving area, but once you turn into the compound, things slow down a bit. It’s a dusty place with a lot of different garages all squeezed together. We mostly deal with clutches, which is a specific kind of work. It’s greasy and loud most of the time. You can hear the sounds of tools hitting metal from the shops next door. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Usually, people just stand around or find a stool while we look at their parts. Our shop is just one of many, but we’ve carved out our own space here. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, but then five people show up at once and it gets hectic. The S. G. Highway brings in a lot of transit traffic, so we see a lot of different faces. We aren't big on marketing or fancy signs. The sign we have is a bit faded from the sun, but it does the job. We just focus on the clutches and making sure the service is handled right there on the spot. It’s a messy job, but someone has to do it. We’ve been in this compound for a while now and know all the neighbors. It’s just how we live and work.
