You can find us at 122 in the New Cloth Market. We are up on the first floor. The market is always full of people moving bales of fabric and shouting out orders. It’s a lively place to work, even if it gets a bit overwhelming on Mondays. Our space is filled with rolls of cloth of all different colors and textures. There isn't much room to walk around once the new shipments come in. We spend most of our hours measuring out lengths and marking them down in the ledger. It’s manual work, and our hands often end up covered in dust or lint from the fabrics. The floor is concrete and we have these big heavy tables for cutting. We’ve been part of this textile hub for a long time. The building itself is old, with those high ceilings and big windows that let in some light. We have a small corner for the computer where we do the billing, but most of the work happens on the floor. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s a working warehouse and office combined. We drink a lot of water because the fans just move the hot air around. Customers come in and out, mostly regulars who have been buying from us for a decade. We know what they need before they even ask. Sometimes the elevator in the market breaks down and we have to carry everything up the stairs, which is quite a job.
