About Sannidhi Architect – Metals & Minerals in Ahmedabad
We work out of a small space in Shyamgokul Apartment on Salpura Road. It’s in Vejalpur, so it’s a busy part of Ahmedabad. Being an architect means we have rolls of drawings and blueprints everywhere. The tables are always covered in pens and scales. It’s not a fancy studio with high ceilings. It’s just a regular apartment converted into a workspace. Clients come in and we sit around a small table to talk about their houses or shops. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it. We spend a lot of time visiting sites, so the office is often empty during the middle of the day. When we are here, we’re usually hunched over our screens or sketching out ideas. It’s a lot of trial and error. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who handle everything from the initial plans to the final checks. There’s no polished sales pitch here. We just show people what we can do and explain how the building process works in simple terms. It’s a lot of paperwork and dealing with local regulations, which isn’t very exciting but it has to be done. We’ve been at this G/4 address for some time now and most of our work comes from people who just saw our sign or heard about us from a neighbor. We just do the work and move on.
