Sanghi Industries Ltd. (Cement Marketing Division)

Our marketing division for cement is based in Ahmedabad. We are in the Sarjan Tower, specifically in office E-104. This is on Gurukul Road in the Memnagar area. It is a very busy part of the city. There are always people walking by and cars honking on the road outside. Being on Gurukul Road means we are right in the middle of things. The office is a standard room in a commercial tower. We have phones that ring quite often and desks piled with papers. Since we handle marketing, we spend a lot of time talking to people from all over. It's a lot of coordination and making sure everyone is on the same page. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have the usual fluorescent lights and some filing cabinets. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling noise but we don't mind it as long as it keeps us cool. Ahmedabad can get incredibly hot in the summer months. We drink a lot of water and try to stay productive. We don't have any big slogans on the walls. We just have our work schedules and a few calendars. Most of us take the bus or ride our scooters to get here. It is just a normal city job for us. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure everything runs as smoothly as it can in a big city.
