You can find our workshop at Plot No 16B, right near Sky Ceramic and behind Mazda Ltd in Phase-III of the G.I.D.C. area in Naroda. It’s a busy industrial zone, and our place is usually filled with the sound of metal being cut or fans being tested for noise. We work on HVAC systems, so there are always ducts and various cooling parts lying around the floor in different stages of completion. The workshop gets quite hot during the summer months, but we just keep the industrial fans going and carry on with the work. We started out with just a few basic tools and a small space, and gradually we filled up the whole plot with machinery. It’s not a fancy setup at all. The office is just a small cabin in the corner where we keep the invoices and hand-drawn designs. We spend most of our time out on the floor or visiting different sites to see how the installations are going. There’s a lot of dust and noise from the neighbors, but that’s just part of being in G.I.D.C. Our workers are mostly local guys who know their way around a welding machine and aren't afraid of hard work. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to handle social media. We just do the work and hope the results are fine when the job is done. Usually, we're busy loading up trucks or talking to suppliers about the current price of steel.
