Our office is situated at Gf/3-4 in the Metro Commercial Centre. Being near the Old High Court on Ashram Road means it’s a busy area. You can usually hear the traffic from Navrangpura outside if the door stays open too long. We have two units joined together, which gives us a bit more room to breathe. It’s not fancy. The walls are a plain color and we have the usual office chairs that have seen better days. Every morning is the same routine: unlock the doors, get the computers running, and check the messages. We do a lot of our work online, so the internet connection is basically the most important thing in the building. There’s a small corner where we keep a kettle for making tea. The desks are often covered in papers and notes. We try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It gets quite bright in here during the middle of the day. The commercial center has a lot of other businesses, so there is always some movement in the hallways. We just stay focused on what’s on our screens. It’s a practical space for the kind of work we do. Nothing more, nothing less. We've been here for a while and the location is convenient enough for everyone to get to. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, but we just take the stairs since we are on the ground floor.
