This place is over in Shahibaug, specifically at 23 Atkesh Society on Darpan Road 5. We’re right opposite the main Nager station, so it’s easy for people coming from outside the city to find us. It’s a bit of an interesting mix here because we handle fertility cases but also operate as Bansal Hospital for general stuff. You see a lot of nervous couples sitting in the waiting room next to someone who just has a broken arm or a bad stomach bug. It makes for a diverse crowd every single day. The building is usually buzzing with activity. I’m often running between the front desk and the back offices trying to find a file that got misplaced. It’s not always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is eventually. Navrang Pura is a busy area anyway, so the energy from the street kind of spills inside. We have a lot of tea breaks when things get too stressful. The doctors are always in meetings or seeing patients, and the nurses are the ones who really keep the place standing. We go through a lot of paper and ink every month. It’s a lot of waiting for some people, especially with the fertility side of things, so we try to keep the atmosphere calm even when it’s loud outside. It is just a regular hospital trying to keep up with the number of people who walk through the door.
