Our shop is at L-11 in President Plaza, which is right on the Ring Road. If you have ever been to the RTO office nearby, you have probably seen the traffic that constantly flows past us. It is a loud, busy area, and the smell of exhaust and burnt rubber is just part of the atmosphere here. We are usually covered in oil by ten in the morning. It is a small space, so we have to be careful about where we park the cars and where we leave our tools. Sometimes it feels like we are playing a game of Tetris just to get a vehicle inside the bay. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with a TV or magazines. Most people just stand around the entrance or grab a tea from the stall next door while we take a look at their engines. We spend our days under hoods or squeezed into tight spots under dashboards. It is greasy, hot work, and the noise from the Ring Road never really stops. We have got a couple of old fans that don’t do much, but we are used to the heat. We don't use any high-tech systems for our notes; usually, it is just a greasy notepad and a pen that barely works. It is just us doing the work, day after day, trying to get people back on the road. It is a bit messy, but it is what we do.
