Our shop is right there in Highway Park, just across from the AMTS bus stop in Ramnagar. If you’re waiting for the bus in Sabarmati, you’ve probably seen our sign once or twice. It’s a decent sized place at number thirteen where we spend most of our daylight hours here in Ahmedabad. Dealing with people coming and going is just part of the routine. The dust from the road gets in sometimes, but we try to keep things organized. It’s a straightforward operation at Sona Enterprises. We aren't trying to change the world, just making a living and providing what the local folks need. My brother and I usually open up early before the sun gets too high and the heat starts beating down on the pavement. There’s always something that needs fixing or an invoice that needs to be sorted out. We’ve got a small back room for storage and a front area where we talk to customers. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times three people walk in at once asking for different things. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. It’s just us here, answering the phone and checking the stock near the 380005 area. The neighborhood has a lot of small businesses like ours, and we all kind of know each other. It’s a good spot to be, right by the main road where everything is happening. We like it here and plan to stay for as long as people need what we sell.
