Sabar Tiles (Gota)

You can find us at Sabar House, which is right near the Gota Railway Crossing in Gota Gam. We’ve been here at Sabar Tiles for a while now. The trains go by pretty often, so it’s a bit noisy, but you get used to it. The shop is right in the Gota Gam area, which is a busy little spot. We keep a lot of tile samples around the place. It’s a bit crowded inside because we try to fit in as many patterns as we can. There isn't much room for a fancy layout, so things are just stacked where they fit. We spend our time helping people look through the stacks. It’s a simple setup. We have a small desk near the front where we sit. Sometimes the dust from the road comes in, so we’re always cleaning the displays. It’s a local shop, nothing corporate about it. If you’re coming over the crossing, we’re right there. People usually just stop by when they’re passing through the village. We don't do much in the way of marketing. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. It’s a practical business. We know the neighbors and they know us. That’s how we like to keep things here in Gota.
