S A Airconditioning

You can find our little shop, S A Airconditioning, at 1 Vraj Avenue. We are right near the Swastik Cross Road in Navrangpura, basically next to the U S Pizza. It is a very busy corner of the city, and we have been here for a good while. Our day-to-day work usually involves a lot of outdoor visits. During the peak of summer, our office is almost empty because everyone is out fixing air conditioners or installing new units in homes and offices. When we are actually in the shop, it is usually to mess around with tools or check the inventory for gas and spare parts. The place is a bit cluttered with copper tubing and old compressors that we use for parts. We are not the type to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned comfort all day ourselves, ironically enough. We are usually covered in a bit of grime from the machines we work on. Navrangpura is a great location because we can reach most parts of Ahmedabad fairly easily, even if the traffic at Swastik can be a nightmare at five in the evening. We rely mostly on the people who live nearby and have known us for years. We do not do any big advertising campaigns. We just show up when someone’s AC stops working and try to get it running again as fast as we can. It is simple, honest work that keeps us on our toes.
