Ruchi Exports

We are way up on the tenth floor of Rushikesh Tower, unit 1004. It’s right near Subhash Chowk in the Gurukul area. Ruchi Exports has been in this tower for quite a long time. The view is alright, but we don't spend much time looking out the window during the day. There is always a lot of paper moving around the office. We deal with exports, so there are always deadlines and schedules to keep track of. The elevators can be slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to their floor, which is a bit of a hassle. Gurukul is a pretty crowded area, but it’s where everything happens in this part of town. Our office is just a workspace. We don't have a fancy lounge or anything. Just the basics: desks, chairs, and a printer that jams every now and then. We don't put on an act for anyone who visits. If you come in, you see the real mess of a working day. We know the security guards downstairs and the tea stall guy around the corner. It feels like a little community here. Ruchi Exports is just us trying to make a living and keeping things moving. We aren't corporate people who wear suits. We usually just wear what's comfortable for the heat. The work is hard sometimes, but we just get on with it. It’s a simple life at the top of the tower.
