We are tucked away over at Silver Brook B, right across from Doctor House. It’s just off C G Road in Ellisbridge, which is a pretty well-known part of the city. Being in this spot is convenient for us. The building has a bit of character, and we’ve made our space comfortable enough for the long hours we put in. We go by a couple of names depending on who you’re asking, but it’s all the same group of us here. The office is usually a bit cluttered with samples and technical drawings, but we know where everything is. We don’t really care much for being perfectly tidy. It feels more like a workshop than a cold corporate office. On most days, you’ll find us huddled around a desk talking through a project or answering the phone. We don't have a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the phone picks it up. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it’s worked for us for years now. The neighborhood around Ellisbridge has changed quite a bit since we first started, with more shops and cafes popping up, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We like the familiarity of it. When the weather is nice, we might step outside for a bit, but mostly we’re inside getting things sorted. It’s not an exciting life, but it’s our life, and we’re quite alright with it. We just keep our heads down and keep going until the work is finally finished.
