Royal Bank Of Scotland

Our branch is in the Viva Complex, right by Parimal Garden and near the L. G. Bridge. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside. Inside Royal Bank Of Scotland, we spend most of our time dealing with regular banking stuff. People come in to deposit checks, ask about their accounts, or sometimes just to use the ATM in the lobby. We aren't a huge office, just a branch where the staff knows many of the regulars by name. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because of the heat outside. We sit at our desks and work through the piles of forms and digital records that come with the job. It’s not like what you see in the movies; it’s mostly just us typing away and talking to people across the counter. Sometimes the L. G. Bridge area gets really jammed up, so we see people rushing in right before we close. We don't use a lot of fancy talk. If someone has a problem with a transaction, we just try to look it up in the system and see what happened. It’s a lot of sitting and a lot of screen time, but we get to talk to all sorts of people from the neighborhood. We just keep things moving as best as we can and try to make sure the numbers add up at the end of every day.
