We are located at Remi Metals Gujarat Ltd. out in At&Po: Danda, which is in the Amod taluka of Bharuch district. It is a bit far from the main city, so it stays relatively quiet around here. Most people who come by are local or have specific business at the site. We handle various metal materials and keep track of everything from our small office on the property. The surroundings are mostly fields and open space, which is a nice change from the crowded industrial zones. The workday starts early before it gets too hot. We check the gates and see what’s on the schedule for the day. There is no big corporate structure here. It is just us looking after the place and making sure the metal is handled correctly. Sometimes it feels like time moves a bit slower out in Amod. We have our routines and we stick to them. The trucks come and go along the main road, and that’s how most of our days go. It is an honest living. We don't put on any acts for visitors. What you see is what you get. The storage sheds are full and the yard is usually busy enough to keep us on our toes.
