Sharda Textiles

Sharda Textiles is tucked away at 2815, Zaverivad. We are right at the Zaveripolecorner, which is near Tat Khadaki on Relief Road. This part of Ahmedabad is very old and full of history. The lanes are narrow, and it can be quite a challenge to navigate if you aren't used to it. We’ve been here for many years. Our shop is small and filled with fabrics. There’s barely enough room to move sometimes when we have a lot of stock in. We don't have air conditioning or fancy lights. It’s just us and the cloth. We spend our days measuring and cutting and talking to the people who walk in. Most of our neighbors have been here as long as we have. We know the sounds of the street perfectly. Relief Road is always buzzing with people and scooters. It’s a loud place, but it’s home to us. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing where we are. We try to be fair and just do our work without any drama. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the crowds during festival seasons, but we manage. It’s a simple business built on being around for a long time. We just take things one day at a time here in the pole. It’s where our families worked before us, and where we work now. We don't need much more than that.
