Kalpana Society is a pretty well-known spot on Waghodia Road here in Vadodara. We are located at 328/B, which is right near the Suryanagar bus stop. It’s actually quite handy being near the bus stop because it makes it easy for folks to find us, though the noise of the buses pulling in and out can be a bit much in the afternoons. The office itself is part of the society, so it has that residential feel rather than a cold office vibe. We’ve got some plants outside and a small area to park our scooters. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. Vadodara can be quite humid, so the office can feel a bit stuffy if we don’t keep the door open. We spend a lot of our time coordinating shipments and making sure the local paperwork is in order for the company. It’s not the kind of job that gets a lot of glory, but it’s important for keeping things moving. We usually take a longish lunch break when the sun is at its peak. The neighbors are friendly enough, though they probably get tired of us receiving so many deliveries. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can get a bit messy with files everywhere. It’s a real place with real people just trying to do their jobs well without any extra polish or pretense.
