Registered Government Contractor

I run things out of Saripada, which is a small place near Takarwada in the Palanpur Taluka. Being a Registered Government Contractor around here means I spend a lot of time out in the field, but this is where everything is based. It’s in the Banaskantha district of Gujarat. If someone needs to reach me, they usually just call my mobile because I’m rarely sitting behind a desk for long. The work is straightforward and depends on what the local government needs at the time. I don't have a big office building or a team of secretaries. It’s mostly just me and a few hands when projects get busy. Life in Saripada is quiet for the most part, which I like. People in the village know who I am and where to find me if they need something done. I don’t go in for fancy advertising or big promises. I just look at the contract, see what needs building or fixing, and I get it done. Dealing with the heat in North Gujarat can be tough during the summer, but that’s part of the job. I’ve lived in this area my whole life, so I know the roads and the people pretty well. My mobile number is usually the best way to get a hold of me since I’m always moving between sites. It’s a simple life and simple work, but it keeps me busy enough and that is all I really need.
